Springtime Orange County Events to Look Out For- Irvine Regional Park’s Easter Eggstravaganza

This multi-week event is perfect for the whole family, especially if you have little ones who love a good easter egg hunt. Read more to find out what you can expect at this exciting festival. 

Meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny

Is any Easter season complete without a photo with the Easter Bunny? We surely don’t think so! Luckily, the Eggstravaganza has you covered! For just $12.00 per visit, your children can say hello to the Easter Bunny for an adorable photo opportunity. You’ll receive one complimentary photo with your ticket that will be printed on the spot, however additional copies can be purchased for $6.00 per photo. Additionally, you may also use your personal camera or phone to take your own pictures!

Due to the pandemic, social distancing will be enforced during photos with the Easter Bunny. As such, guests will not be permitted to sit on the Easter Bunny’s lap and will instead be seated on a bench 6 feet in front of him. While the goal at the Eggstravaganza is to have fun, health and safety is most certainly a priority for this event! 

It’s also important to note that activity tickets may NOT be redeemed for pictures with the Easter Bunny. 

Participate in an Easter egg hunt 

Of course, what would an Easter Eggstravaganza be without an Easter egg hunt? For just 2 activity tickets per child, your little ones can enter one of the many egg hunts taking place at the Eggstravaganza. These colorful eggs are filled with a bunch of fun surprises and treats, so this is definitely a fun activity you won’t want to miss! 

There will be multiple egg hunts happening throughout the day at different time slots according to your child’s age beginning at 10 AM and ending at 3:40 PM on weekdays and 5:40 PM on weekends. Since only a certain number of children can attend the Easter egg hunt, time slots may hit capacity and sell out. To avoid not being able to enter the hunt, it’s suggested that you arrive early to register for your desired time slot. 

In order to register for the hunt, you must purchase the required number of activity tickets based on the amount of children in your party that will be participating. Tickets can be purchased at one of the two ticket booths located throughout the park. Once your tickets are purchased, visit the wristband booth to trade your tickets for a wristband that grants your child access to participate in a hunt for a certain time slot. 

Play other fun activities 

Activity tickets will be available for purchase at $6 per ticket or $75 for a book of 15 tickets. These tickets can be redeemed for admission to other exciting activities at the Eggstravaganza. Besides the easter egg hunt (2 tickets per child), other activities include the bunny roundup (1-2 tickets per person), egg basket toss (1 ticket per person), paint party (1-2 tickets per person), carnival games (1 ticket per person), and train rides (1 ticket per person). Surely, you’re in for a fun afternoon full of games and prizes when you visit Orange County events like this special Eggstravaganza Easter celebration!

Entrance to the Eggstravaganza is FREE however to participate in the different activities located throughout the park, you must purchase activity tickets. Activity tickets are available for $6.00 per ticket or $75.00 for a book of 15 tickets.

An entrance fee is required in order to park at the Irvine Regional Park.

Weekdays- $3.00 per vehicle 

Weekends- $5.00 per vehicle
