Check Out These Concerts Coming to Orange County in May 2022!
May means that summer vacation is just around the corner, but that doesn’t mean that you have to wait until school’s out to have a great time! There is a multitude of concerts that are scheduled for the rest of the spring for even more things to put on your list of things to do in Orange County.
Here are just a few of them that you definitely won’t want to miss out on!
Retrofest: Classic Rock Concert │ Huntington Beach Historic Theater │ Thu, May 12, and Fri, May 13 at 7 PM and Sat, May 14, 2 PM & 7 PM
Get your feet tapping, arms swinging and best singalong voice ready as you come on over for a chance to enjoy some classic rock n’ roll performed by local music students. Why not invite all of your fellow classic rock fans to one of these shows? Leave the stresses of school and work behind for a few hours and appreciate catchy tunes from a variety of your all-time favorite rock bands! The price of admission is $25, while students and seniors can purchase a ticket for $15!
Pedro Capó Tour 2022 │ Xalos Event Center (Anaheim) │ Sat, May 21, 2022, 9 AM
Pedro Capó is a successful singer and songwriter from Puerto Rico. He is the grandson of legendary musician Bobby Capó (1922-1989). Some of his most notable songs include Fuego y Amor, Aquila, and Munay. That’s why if you love Puerto Rican music, this event would be right up your alley!
Eva Ayllón│BH Event Center (Laguna Arts)│Sun, May 22, 2022, 6 PM
Be there for Eva Ayllón’s very first performance in Orange County at the BH Event Center! She is one of the most popular musicians in all of Peru, with her career spanning over 50 years. She even earned a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. A few of her many notable songs include Kipus y Eva, Que Viva el Perú, Señores!, and Nostalgia Chalaca.
Matchbox Twenty & The Wallflowers at FivePoint Amphitheater (Irvine)│Sun, May 29, 2022, 12 PM – 11 PM
It’ll be double the fun with these two amazing bands! Matchbox Twenty is a rock group that was founded in Orlando, Florida in the mid-1990s. Their most popular songs include Push and How Far We Come. The Wallflowers started in Los Angeles in 1989, known for hits such as One Headlight and 6th Avenue Heartache. Combine these two bands, and you have a collaboration that will rock your socks off! This will be a crossover just as thrilling as The Avengers!
