Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show

Are you a big fan of cars of all shapes and sizes? If that is the case, you’re definitely going to want to visit the South OC Cars and Coffee and Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show. It’s indeed a long name, but not only is this an event that features cars beyond your wildest dreams, but it’s also for a good cause as there will be free screening for prostate cancer, plus the proceeds of the show will go to a center combatting prostate cancer.

History

With her husband being diagnosed with prostate cancer in the year 2000, Debbie Baker sought a way for people to get noticed for the disease while also making it an event in the process so that more people will be convinced to take the screening tests. Thus the car show was born, and ever since that day, the event has tested over 12,000 men for cancer and positively identified over 3,000 of them for the disease, giving them a chance to fight back. 

The Cars

As mentioned before, you’re going to find a great many cars on the show. You’ll even see pickups, motorcycles, and even rat rods. When you arrive at this event, it’s going to be less of a question as to what cars you can see and more of ‘what cars are not at the event.’ So take advantage of what will be displayed like vintage brands, muscle cars, sports cars, and more.

Entrance Fee: FREE registration and entry 

Screening: This will be done for FREE by Westpac Labs, no appointment is needed for testing.

Available: Cruisin’ for a Cure will take your donations for shirts, hats, and dash plaques. All donations will go to the KSK Cancer Center of Irvine.

You’re going to be able to see over 3500 cars that will be on display. Granted vendors will be pretty limited due to the current state of the Coronavirus, but there will still be other ways people can enjoy themselves at the event. There will also be many volunteers assisting in running the event, and they help this gathering earn the moniker of the largest single-day car event in the world.
