Dia de Los Muertos Market in Garden Grove
Looking for Orange County Events and want to participate in the festivities of Dia de Los Muertos this year? Well, you can! On Saturday, November 7, 2020, you can attend the Garden Grove Dia de Los Muertos Market, where there will be over 30 vendors, artists, food, drinks, and more. The market will be outdoors and will adhere to the Covid-19 Safety Guidelines for everyone’s safety attending the event.
With the event hosting over 30 vendors, there will be a large variety of food, drinks, art, music, and raffles to keep you entertained and enjoy the event. The first 100 attendees will receive a goodie bag that will include some free treats. Items from the vendors will also be raffled off. The market is open and free to everyone, but you must RSVP in order to receive a ticket.
Face Masks are Mandatory
Face masks and coverings will be required for all attendees from the ages of 2 and older, vendors, and market staff. The event requires you to bring your own masks and wear them at all times, except when dining in the designated areas. Face coverings can be removed if you are eating or drinking but should stay in the designated areas and maintain appropriate social distancing.
All masks and face coverings must:
- Be made with breathable material that is at least two layers thick.
- Fit safe and snug against the side of your face.
- Fully cover your mouth and nose and be secured under your chin.
- Be secured with ties or loops around your ears and allow guests to use their hands freely.
Temperature Check At Entrance
Temperature screenings will take place at every entrance of the venue. Health official guidelines have made it clear that anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to a different location for a rescreening. Those with a temperature of 100.4 F or greater entry will not be allowed, and those in their party will also not be allowed to enter the venue.
Wash your Hands
Make sure to wash your hands and use hand sanitizer. There will be hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the venue. While we continue to live and work through the ongoing pandemic, we have to work together to stay safe. So keep the theme going to stay safe, wash your hands, and maintain 6 feet of social distance but still enjoy the parts of life we all enjoy and want back.
Note: Vendor booths will be spaced out to keep social distancing in place and meet the government health guidelines.*
If you are not feeling well please stay home.
If you find yourself ill, please stay home. Always remember to cover your sneezes and coughs with a tissue or sleeve to minimize the spread of germs. We are still in a pandemic, so we still need to participate in ways to keep everyone safe. This can be achieved by washing your hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes or mouth when your hands are dirty or unwashed. Clean touched surfaces frequently, especially your phone!
* It’s recommended that attendees at the market minimize close contact.*
It may feel like Covid-19 has put a tight bubble on the things we can do this year. However, Orange County Events like this one and others have adapted to the changes and will continue to offer people a way to enjoy the freedom of going out while staying safe and strong amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
