February Presents Many Things To Do In Orange County

This month offers some opportunities for fun cultural experiences in Orange County. If you’re looking for things to do, both natives and visitors should check out the items on this list, as unforgettable experiences abound.

Laguna Beach Music Festival

First up we have the Laguna Beach Music Festival, which takes place from the 6th through the 10th. If you head to their website, you can get information on the various bands that will be gracing the stage at several different venues.

The purpose of the festival is to expose the OC community to innovation and artistic excellence, so expect new songs and arrangements from a wide variety of celebrated local musicians. This series of shows will be both educational and a chance to rock out. All ages are welcome.

Tet Festival

The Tet Festival will take place in Costa Mesa from February 8th through the 10th, and it’s sure to be one of the more fascinating things to do in Orange County this season.

The Festival is a celebration of Vietnamese culture, and more than 100,000 people are expected to attend this year. There will be hundreds of booths with speakers, crafts and art for sale, Vietnamese foods, and traditional games, all in celebration of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. If you don’t know too much about this vibrant culture, this is your chance to learn. It’s sure to be a joyful event with lots of smiles and laughter.

Timberwolf 5K Walk and Run

On February the 9th, a Saturday, it’s time for the annual Timberwolf 5K Walk and Run in Irvine. It also includes the 1K Fun Run. This is a gathering of fitness enthusiasts that takes place in a venue that is unparalleled in terms of natural beauty. Orange County residents come from all over to get some exercise followed by a feast of fantastic food.

Proceeds from the registration and sponsorships go to Northwood High School and the Families Forward initiative. It’s a nonprofit that supports housing programs, services for families in crisis, career coaching, counseling, and helps low-income families get regular meals.
