The Orange County Block Party
We’ll start with the 2nd Annual Orange County Block Party, taking place this Saturday the 10th in downtown Santa Ana. This is going to be a full day of music and entertainment, with a lineup worthy of any festival. The Game, Tyga, Twista, WC, DJ Quik, and many others are going to be tearing up the stage, and both general admission and VIP tickets are now available. If you are a student of rap and hip-hop, you’ll appreciate this opportunity to see so many established acts, as well as some promising up-and-comers. There will also be food trucks, merch tables, and two fully-stocked bars, all with the backdrop of the downtown Orange County skyline shimmering behind them.
Taco Tuesday
Are there any more stimulating words in the English language than “Taco Tuesday?” Any list of things to do in Orange County would not be complete without mentioning this popular favorite, which takes place on November 13th at the Hotel Irvine. The Red Bar and Lounge is the place for $5 tacos and $5 margaritas all night long. You must RSVP in advance, as this event has limited space. Tacos and margaritas: was there ever a better combination?
The Bachbox Launch Party
In Costa Mesa on Tuesday, November 13th, the Bachbox is holding a launch party at Fete the Venue. This is a girls night out that won’t disappoint, as there will be craft cocktails, gourmet food, and a festive atmosphere. The Backbox is famous for its themed party boxes for bachelorette parties, but it is also known for throwing wild bashes. If you’re not familiar with the company that has taken Orange County by storm, this will be a fabulous chance to be introduced to them.
