How to Celebrate 4th of July in Orange County in 2022!

It’s that time of the year again! Are you ready for Independence Day on Monday, July 4th? If you’re still stumped on what to do on your day off, then you’ve come to the right place! Check out all of the Orange County events for you to choose from this year!

4th of July Parade in Huntington Beach (Thu, June 30 – Mon, July 4)

The City of Huntington Beach has been holding annual Fourth of July festivals since 1904. There is a multitude of events you can take part in over the course of the 4-day celebration, including the Surf City 5K, the Pier Plaza Festival, the parade, fireworks, carnival tickets, and a decorating contest. Best of all, these events are completely FREE!

Mission Viejo July 4th Street Faire & Fireworks Spectacular (Mon, July 4, 12 – 9:30 PM)

Here’s another free event that you can attend – this time, it’s over in Mission Viejo! A free shuttle will run from 1 to 8 PM, so you can experience all of the live entertainment without the hassle of having to worry about transportation!

Independence Day on the Back Bay – Newport Beach (Mon, July 4, 12 – 9 PM)

Who wouldn’t want to be in Newport Beach on the 4th of July? There will be plenty of activities for you and your entire family to enjoy at one of the most fun-filled Independence Day Orange County events we could find on the Net – including Moe’s B Munchies, live music, food trucks, watersports, board games, and drinks for all of the 21+ folks! 

Lake Forest 4th of July Parade — TerraNova Church

Come on down for some live music (and not to mention free water bottles) at TerraNova Church. If you’ve been looking for a new faith group to join, this event could be a great introduction for you, too!

Pacific Symphony July 4 Spectacular Featuring Music Of Queen with Fireworks – Irvine (Mon, July 4, 8 PM)

Not much of a partier? Are you a fan of Queen and Freddie Mercury? Then this is the event for you! Come on down to the Pacific Symphony and witness some of the band’s greatest hits performed live by some of Irvine’s most talented musicians! They will truly rock you!

Orange Park Acres 4th of July 5K and 10K (Mon, July 4, 12 PM)

Love racing? Come on down to Orange, CA, to run in either the 5K or 10K race this year! There’s no better way to say “I love the U.S.” than running while waving our flag up in the air!
