Look out for these Orange County Events

Summer is here and the sun is up and burning! Okay well not always, as the June gloom can be persistent this year. But have no fear, for rain or shine we have picked out some Orange County events that are bound to be fun for the whole family no matter the weather!

Food Truck Friday at EvFree Fullerton

Come on down to Fullerton this July 19th to wolf down some of Orange County’s best fares! From 5:30PM to 8:30PM the EvFree will be featuring the best food trucks that the County can offer, including Crepes Bonaparte, Luis Ramirez, Cali’ Flaming Grill, and others. Get some relief in the cool of the summer evening while dining and enjoying the beautiful OC evening with family and friends!

Apollo’s 50th Anniversary

From July 13th to 28th enjoy this incredible family event hosted by the Discovery Cube in Santa Ana to discover all the wonders of the solar system! The Discovery Cube is partnering with the Goldstone Apple Valley Radio Telescope (GAVRT) to hold an educational K-12 program to explore the solar system. Children and students can operate a 34 meter (112 foot) radio telescope to study celestial bodies, and there is no telling just what you will see!

The Cube will also be hosting family events on the dynamics of energy, pressure, and motion in rocket blasts. Let your child learn how high they can jump on the moon with Newton’s Third Law of Motion, as well as uncovering what your mass would be on Earth’s natural satellite!

Cars & Coffee – Orange County

The World Famous Car & Coffee Orange County is back this July 20th in Anaheim! With great music, awesome guests, and of course amazing cars, this year’s show is a must for any automobile enthusiast! Known of course for their complementary Donuts and Coffee, the event also features raffle games with attendant prizes, as well as technology sessions to keep you up-to-date on the latest motor trends. They encourage all attendees to bring their custom rides whether transformed or simply tidied up to build and share in our community. Get to the event as early as possible for good parking though! 

Orange County Beginner Photo Class

For the more artistic types out there, this beginning Photo class is sure to be a fun and informative time for the whole family! Come on down to the City of Orange  on July 20th to learn beginners DSLT as well mirrorless hands-on digital skills. And if this session teaches you anything, it is that you DO NOT need to have your camera on Auto to get a great shot!
