If you are a car enthusiast like we are, then you are probably considering attending a few car events in Orange County as a part of your summer plans. Luckily for you, we practically have our PhDs in OC car news and events. So if you still haven’t decided which ones to go to yet, then definitely check out our list below.
Gary’s Classic Car Show with Buena Park Emblem and Bake Sale – Every Friday, 4 – 8 PM
It’s two Orange County events in one! Every Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Buena Park Elks Lodge, “Gary’s Classic Car Show” and the Buena Park Emblem Club #340 Bake Sale run concurrently. Dinner at the Elks’ lodge costs $8.00, while the patio car show menu includes hot dogs for $4.00 and hamburgers for $5.00, and drinks and chips. All proceeds from the bake sale go to the charities supported by the Emblem Club, including Second Harvest, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Breast Cancer Angels. The Club offers over 10 different desserts every Friday for $1.00 a slice. The Emblem Members produce the sweets for the event. FREE: Classic Car Show and Live Music on Historic Main Street – Every Friday, 4 – 8 PM
The Garden Grove Car Show is held annually in Orange County, California. Each week, dozens of Classic Cars, Antique Cars, and Custom Coupes parade down Main Street, providing an evening of entertainment and spectacle for the whole family. Rockabilly, swing, tribute, and country bands regularly perform live music.
South OC Cars & Coffee – Every Saturday in July, 9 – 11 AM
What better way to spend your Saturday morning than with hot rides and a good ol’ cup of joe? The largest weekly auto show in the world, South OC Cars, and Coffee draws between 1500 and 3500 hypercars, supercars, exotics, antique, classic, muscle, and sports cars, as well as hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4x4s, and motorcyclists. No registration is necessary, and we meet every Saturday, rain or shine! Celebrities appear on TV program shootings, new model and prototype vehicle displays are made by manufacturers, etc.
Car Dealer 101 in Irvine – Monday, July 11, 2022, 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Do you dream of becoming a car salesman or perhaps are looking for a workshop to learn tips to get better at your profession? Then definitely come on down to this event! You will learn all about a variety of different topics including learning how to become a licensed used car dealer, get your car dealer bond, and how to run a successful and ethical used car dealership.
The family-friendly, very entertaining auto exhibition will be held every Wednesday for the next 5 months. Complete your evening with meals and entertainment from our partners Duke’s Cafe and Esther’s Taco House. Please bring everything you have to exhibit for a chance to win one of our many prizes or the People’s Choice Award. Spectators are welcome. Other prizes include a trivia contest, raffle items, a 50/50 draw, and many more entertaining things.
