Orange County Halloween Events: Kids Special
Knowing the ghouls and goblins are ready to kick off the Orange County events this Halloween is pretty exciting! Here is a list of fun events in Orange County this Halloween.
Adventure City’s Boo-tastic Halloween Party – Anaheim
Adventure City’s child-friendly Halloween party is sure to be popular with the entire family.
Special private Orange County events are only available to ticket holders, including quail eggs for collecting items, vortex tunnels, tricks of crazy scientist magicians, Halloween treasure hunt games, spooky dances, and eleven rides.
Anaheim Autumn Festival and Halloween Parade
For nearly 100 years, the Anaheim community celebrated the season on the streets with autumn celebrations and Halloween parades.
Children under the age of 12 are invited to wear the best outfits and participate in the Kiddie Costume Contest. You know what’s exciting, the best-dressed pets can also participate in Pooch Parade for Halloween.
The parade goes down the city center along the promenade and ends at the Anaheim Packing Plant.
Santa Ana Zoo
The Santa Ana Zoo in Prentice Park will host the annual Boo at the zoo, which is designed to bring joy and fun to the whole family, perfect for 2 to 12 years old kids.
Wear costumes and tricks or visit your favorite stalls from 10 treatment stations to collect toys, books, snacks, and sweets. Participants will enjoy entertainment, games, stories, animal shows, walks in the “screaming teens” haunted house and costume parades.
Spooky Camp on the Knott Berry Farm – Buena Park
It starts from September 28th to October 27th, and ends on Thursday, October 31st. Every autumn, the Snoopy Camp is transformed into the Spooky Camp at Knott Berry Farm, which makes Halloween more exciting for children aged 3-11.
In addition to the rides and Halloween decorations, guests can also see all the costumes of the favorite peanut characters and watch the Halloween-themed performance at the Snoopy Camp Theatre.
Police N’ Goblin – Buena Park
Thursday, October 31, 2019. “Cops N’Goblins Halloween Trick or Treat” is a free annual community event. Families can take part in adventures with police officers and local attractions such as Knott’s Berry Farm, Medieval Times, and Pirates.
Kids can wear costumes and eat candy. The event also includes haunted labyrinths, music, and other fun family activities.
Explore the Cube’s Weird Science – Santa Ana
On the weekend of October, Discovery Cube invites visitors of all ages to learn about the world of wizards and dragons.
Participation in activities, hands-on activities, and experiments will teach children more about STEM concepts in a fun Halloween-themed environment and explore the chemical world in the “Witches” show. Check the list provided on the website to attend your favorite Orange County events with your kids.
Ghost Party at OC Heritage Museum OC – Santa Ana
The annual ghost party of the OC Traditional Museum is coming soon!
Spend a creepy night in the live music of Krazy Kirk and Hillbillies. Guests can take part in several activities, including the ghost tour of the historic Kellogg House, the Ghost Walk, the Gospel Swamp Renaissance, the mysterious blacksmith, and more.
Halloween Animal Art – Orange
On October 19th, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, Orange County Zoo hosts a one-hour activity for kids who are aged between 5 and 10 years old.
Participants will learn about Halloween-related animals, make Halloween-themed handicrafts, and get close and personal with animals. This event requires registration and costs $5 per child.
Halloween Boutique at Roger Garden – Corona Del Mar
August 30 to October 31, 2019. Come and explore Malice in Wonderland at the Halloween boutique in Roger Gardens, Corona Del Mar.
Slide down the rabbit hole and explore the maze and design maze in Mad Hatter’s Workshop, at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
Enjoy unique and imaginative decorations, but don’t lose yourself in the Red Queen field!
Halloween Superstar – Huntington Beach
Thursday, October 31, 2019. Take the kids to the city of Huntington Beach for a safe and fun little game or event.
Local businesses will distribute candy, police, fire, and maritime security to distribute snacks and show off equipment on site.
Visitors will enjoy bounce houses, inflatable slides, games, obstacle routes, creepy little animals, and a Halloween-themed photo session.
Halloween Carnival at Villa Park
The annual Villa Park Halloween Carnival will be on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Free community activities include coloring competitions, costume competitions, and pumpkin carving and decoration competitions.
Other free activities include haystacks, local merchants’ tricks, handicrafts, dances, and more. You can buy food and drinks, and often add other activities to this fun Halloween event.
Halloween fun with family and friends – Stanton
October 26, 2010. Stanton City hosts this fun Halloween event for members of the community at Stanton Central Park.
Guests will enjoy DJ music, games, weird storytime, handicrafts, costume competitions, and tricks or entertaining. Put on your outfit, bring a snack bag, and spend a happy Halloween time with the whole family.
Westminster Mall’s Halloween – Westminster
Thursday, October 31. The annual Halloween event is back to Westminster Mall. Invite your family to the entire mall to get out of the way and visit the game booth to win prizes and fun snacks. Invite everyone to wear clothing.

Halloween at Disneyland Resort – Anaheim
September 6 to October 31, 2019. Every year, Disneyland dresses up for the long-awaited Halloween with fun and weird decorations and costumes Halloween.
Guests will love the Avenue of the Pumpkins that displays hundreds of hand-carved pumpkin lanterns. The California Adventure Park will decorate in Halloween decorations, including fun activities such as Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’Haul-O-Ween, and Galaxy’s Guardian After Dark.
Disney fans will never want to miss Mickey’s Halloween party. It’s a special event that is priced separately according to specific nights in September and October. Activities including trick and treat, Halloween screaming fireworks, villain squares, and the fearful parade of headless knights.
